I grew up in Savannah, Georgia, graduated from College of Charleston with my Bachelor’s in Psychology in 2007 and then went on to earn my Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis at Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, FL where I was a research assistant. Upon graduation, I earned my BCBA in September 2012.
Since receiving my BCBA, I have been working as a Supervising Behavior Analyst in the Savannah area, working with children diagnosed with autism and other developmental delays ranging from ages 18 months to 20 years old with differing degrees of behavioral issues and severity levels. I have worked in centers, in-homes, in the community, in schools, and via Telehealth.
I have a passion for teaching and helping others. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, cats, practicing yoga, being outdoors, and going to concerts.
Lindsey Knopf, BCBA
I’ve been a Behavior Analyst for 4 years now and I truly cannot see myself doing anything else than working with our amazing kids who are unique individuals. I find my work rewarding because I can make a difference in their daily lives. I am not only here to work with our kids but their families as well. Therefore, my goal is for each client I work with to have an exceptional experience throughout the process and for each family to be properly educated about autism. When I am not working, I find myself enjoying nature, going on hikes with my dog, reading new books, enjoying photography, and spending time with family and friends. With this said, one of my favorite statements I believe in is from Ignacio Estrada: “If a child can’t learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn.
Jessica Celis, BCBA
I have been been a BCBA since 2016 and and I am currently the Clinical Supervisor for Amaze ABA’s Savannah, Georgia region. I am a proud mother of two girls who were diagnosed with autism earlier when they were younger and and are now both successful college graduates. My interest in helping my daughters expanded into helping others and prompted me to accept a therapist position in the Preschool Bucks County, IU-22 program. I then returned to college and completed my B.A. in Child Development Studies at Ashford University (now U.A. Global Campus) magna cum laude in 2012 (as a “late blooming” student at the age of 50.) I then immediately became a graduate student at Nova Southeastern University,
Earning my M.S. in Developmental Disabilities with concentrations in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Early Childhood. I also pursued post-graduate work in Child Protective Services and Child Advocacy at Montclair State University. I have worked in New Jerswey as a Child Development Specialist and BCBA in Early Intervention Part-C (birth- 3 years) in various settings. I worked as a BCBA in Maryland, North Carolina, and Texas before relocating to Georgia. I am proud to have helped many adults pursuing their BCBA at Behavior Momentum India (BMI), the only international school then accepted by the BACB, the leading credentialing body in the field of ABA therapy. I live with my family in Effingham County, GA, where I love the sunshine and good people.
Lynn Sparling, BCBA
I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with 12 years experience in ABA. I started my career as an RBT therapist and knew instantly this was my calling. I loved the science of behavior analysis and seeing my client’s progress being reinforced by the data. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Maryland, and in 2017 and then went on to receive my Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University. I have worked with children and adults in home, school, and community settings. I have also used my knowledge to provide direct therapeutic interventions to the clients, teaching, modeling, and coaching ABA techniques directed to increase communication skills, social skills, appropriate play skills, and daily living skills. I am a proud mom and military wife and enjoy blogging, collecting vintage toys, singing, and crabbing with my family on weekends.
Stacie Dizzley, BCBA
I was born in Savannah, Georgia and spent the first two years of my life there. I moved to Long Island, New York, when I was six-years old. I was raised in Long Island and spent all of my elementary, middle, and high school years there. I graduated high school in August of 2002 from Half Hollow Hills High School East. I immediately started my undergraduate studies at Virginia State University, August 2002 and graduated in December of 2006. I graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s of science in Interdisciplinary Studies with an endorsement in Special Education. I started my career as a special education teacher teaching students with special needs. Most of my teaching experience was teaching students with autism spectrum disorder,
This is how I developed my love for this population of people. I taught in the public school settings, private school settings, and a hospital setting. I taught in New York City, Virginia, and Georgia. After 14 years of teaching and recognizing that I wanted my resources and expertise to address my students’ diverse and individualized needs, I decided to pursue education/training in the applied behavior analysis field. I enrolled in an online program to complete a Master’s of Science in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2018 at Capella University. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Capella University in March of 2020. I proceeded to complete my supervision hours so I could sit for the board exam. I passed the board-certification exam in November of 2021 and have been a practicing Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) since. I am passionate about helping individuals with diverse needs acquire goals, new skills, and developmental milestones.
Fun facts about me: I have two cats. I enjoy arts/crafts activities. My maternal side of my family is from the United States Virgin Islands (USVI), St.Thomas & St. Croix. I have an 18 year old son who started his first year at college this year.
